When God decides to smile on someone, the person is sorted out irrespective of the position the individual occupies in the family ranking.
That scenario perfectly fits The Chief Executive Officer of Divention Construction Limited, Mr Akinwumi Ajibola.
Born over fifty years ago, the fifth and the last born in the family, Mr Akinwunmi Ajibola started his educational career in a very funny way as he attended three primary schools in two different towns of Oyo and Ibadan.
His first taste of formal education was at Ishokun Primary School, Oyo in 1970. He later moved to Agbeni Primary School Ibadan as the family relocated to the largest city in Sub Sahara Africa. The journey at this level was completed at St. James primary School, Oke Bola, Ibadan . His secondary education was at Methodist High School Ibadan. Thereafter, Mr Akinwunmi Ajibola proceeded to the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) for his law degree programme. He later went for the mandatory law school to become a qualified lawyer in 1990. Fate took Mr Akinwunmi to the northern city of Kaduna where he served the compulsory National Youth Service Corps ( NYSC ) programme. On completion of his NYSC , the young lawyer moved to Lagos where he worked briefly with August Ventures Limited in Lagos owned by Mr Dayo Adetunbi.
By 1993 , Mr Akinwunmi Ajibola had settled in Abuja as he shuttled between the New Federal Capital city of Nigeria and Lagos for business transactions. By 1998, Divention Properties was registered while Divention Construction Limited followed in 2013. All the business groups of the Lawyer cum Real Estate Developer are coordinated under Divention Holdings at Number 45, Missisipi Street Off Alvan Ikoku way, Maitama Sule, Abuja.
