In an exclusive interview with Crude Reports magazine, Dr Ashaolu dismissed the notion that Prostate health issues is a modern day problem. In his words “Many deaths in the olden days were not accounted for in the past because science had not discovered as it has today causes of such.
The assumption was there because the main cause of those deaths could not be accounted for. But I can tell you my experience back from my school days in medical school that a lot of men have problems urinating and this eventually led to their death. So we can not say prostate health problem is a modern day issue per say”. The medical practitioner who has trainings and work experiences in Africa, Europe, America and Asia with career spanning over 20 years pointed out that the most important thing is to determine which type the person is suffering from because according to him, there are two major types of Prostate health issues. “There is the normal Prostate problem called BPH (Benign Prostate Hyper), meaning enlarged Prostate. And there is the terrible one, Prostate cancer and this one is a killer”. He expatiated further that both types often present similar symptoms at times, but early medical test and diagnosis can differentiate the two, so that the person will know what he is dealing with. In both the Prostate enlargement and prostate cancer, the person will be having difficulty urinating but in cases of prostate cancer, blood often comes out with the urine.
Dr Ashaolu said prostate cancer in a simple language involves the growth of abnormal cells which multiplies at alarming rates and if not detected early, diagnosed and treated, may lead to severe damage of other surroundings organs in the body. Asked to comment on specific reasons for prostate health problems among men above 50 to 60 years of age, Dr. Ashaolu said a hyper active man may be prone to prostate health challenge apart from those having high toxic contents in their body system. Environmental factor was also identified as one of the causes for prostate health issues.

Asked the question, “What are the things that should be done by anyone suffering from the symptoms of frequent urination, having difficulty in urinating and passing out urine with blood?”. Dr Ashaolu was quick with his response “Many times, people suffering from prostate cancer will be having treatment for prostate enlargement because they do not do things they ought to do rightly. The first step is to go for Prostate Strategic Antigem (PSA). After the PSA test, there should be another test called the Rectal check and this could be done through what I called the PREMIUM ULTRA SOUND” which is the most effective way of detecting if a man is having prostate cancer or not” Dr Ashaolu said other prominent symptoms that any man suffering from prostate health issues will be experiencing is weak erection which can lead to erectile dysfunction if the root causes of the problems are not attended to on time.
